Main Menu

Dialog [Start]

The dialog is displayed by default on running the program. It contains the number of advices on usage of some functions og the program. See also the dialog [Open Help].
Dialog [User permissions edit]

The dialog is used by the administrator to give permissions to the users for the program functions.
Dialog [Error Log]

The program saves the captured errors. Send this log to the producer of the software.
Dialog [Login Log]

The administrator of the program has the information about the usage of the program by the users.
Dialog [Import/export] switch set to Export

The functions of this dialog allow to export the data to other instances of the software.
Dialog [Import/export] switch set to Import

The functions of this dialog allow to import the data for other instances of the software, working in other (unreachable) networks. Here, the pattern database shared by the producer of the program, can be imported as well.
Dialog [XML Scan Import]

The dialog allows the import of the scanned data from the Workstations situated off the network – using the RANS scanner.
Dialog [External companies]

The data inserted using this dialog will be used ia. in the dialogs [Licenses – edit] and [Permanent Resources – edit].
Dialog [Network Addresses Dictionary]

The dialog, in which the corporate network addresses should be generated and saved at the start of using the program. The [IP Scanner] scans the network basing upon these addresses.
Dialog [Department Dictionary]

The data inserted in this dialog will be used ia. in the dialogs [Users – edit] and [Permanent resources - edit].
Dialog [Object type Dictionary…]

The objects inserted here are represented by ideograms while using the program.
Dialog [License Type Dictionary]

The dialog proposes the division of the licensing into several groups. Do not delete the existing types, because they are used by many mechanisms of the application.
Dialog [Multi-address Workstation Dictionary]

The dialog contains the names of all Workstations having more than one IP-address (having more network cards – most often the servers).
Dialog [PR Status Dictionary]

The dialog allows to edit the statuses for proper management of the Permanent Resources used by the program.
Dialog [Global Settings] Tab [Company data]

Put the data of your company here. it will be displayed in the program and reports.
Dialog [Global Settings] Tab [Global mail]

The settings allow the mass-mailing to the users of illegal software. The mails can also been sent using the account of the user currently logged into the program (see the dialog [Local Settings]).
Dialog [Global Settings] Tab [E-mails - correspondence]

The dialog allows preparation of the message contents accompanying the e-mails sent to the users. The legal software is so called “certificate” or the list of corporate software installed on the user’s Workstation. The users of the Workstation should have such list electronically or as a print-out.
Dialog [Global Settings] Tab [Training - declarations]

The dialog allows the preparation of the content of the declarations (or agreements with the employer) signed by the employees.
Dialog [Local Settings] and its tabs

The elements available in some versions of the program.
Dialog [Local Settings] and its tabs

There are two language versions available at the moment. The change of the application language will occur after clicking [Save] button and restarting the application.
Dialog [Local Settings] and its tabs

The settings allow the mass-mailing to the users of illegal software (after switching the option on [Use the settings of the current user]. The mails can also be sent as global mail using the dialog [Global Settings].
Dialog [Local Settings] and its tabs

If the Workstation can work on two galvanically separated networks, one can switch the network type here to the currently used. For the program to see the proper network it is necessary to set the network type here (when the corporate network definition is already set).
Dialog [Log-in]

After the first log-in into the chosen database, the administrator of the application should change the default password for RA user from “ra” into new one.
Dialog [SO – IP addresses]

The dialog allows to manage IP addresses and their usage. The dialog also handy for network administrators.
Dialog [SO - history]

The dialog is helpful in big corporations and many application users. It is possible to determine the place and time of the errors in records and persons responsible for them.
Dialog [Scannable Objects]

Our company proposes the notion Scannable Object. The Scannable Objects are the devices having its own IP address or the Workstations used beyond the network. The list is created during the scanning of the IP addresses and association of the SO with the Main User and permanent Resource ID.
Dialog [Permanent Resources - history]

The dialog is helpful in big corporations and many application users. It is possible to determine the place and time of the errors in records and persons responsible for them.
Dialog [Permanent Resources]

The dialog allows to insert the information about the permanent Resources, which then should be associated with the scanned SO. The information about all PRs used by the IT Dept. or the company. Permanent Resource is understood here as all the groups of the equipment, for which the registry is requested by the law.
Dialog [File Scans]

The dialog allows to scan the Workstation for the files. The files can be also scanned by the SARA or RANS software. The SARA software is available in the commercial version of RA2007, and the RANS is a freeware available on the Download section.
Dialog [Scans]

The dialog allows the scanning of the network for SO’s and gathering the information about them. The Workstations can be also scanned by the SARA or RANS software. The SARA software is available in the commercial version of RA2007, and the RANS is a freeware available on the Download section.
Dialog [Audits – Correspondence with Users]

The dialog allows to send e-mails to the insubordinate users. It is one of the elements in the “continuous supervision” philosophy. The “certificates” are also sent from here.
Dialog [Audits – continuous supervision of the Workstation]

Our company proposes the philosophy of the “continuous supervision” over the software. The above dialog allows to display and edit the information about the software on the Workstations. One of the most important dialogs of the program.
Dialog [Licenses – history]

The dialog is helpful in big corporations and many application users. It is possible to determine the place and time of the errors in records and persons responsible for them.
Dialog [Licenses – automatic association]

The dialog creates associations of the scanned applications and the licenses. It is particularly helpful for new Windows updates or the hardware drivers. Afterwards the program associates the scanned software with the licenses or groups by itself.
Dialog [Licenses – associating with scanned software]

The dialog allows to associate the scanned software with the licenses in case it is not able to perform it by itself.
Dialog [Licenses]

The dialog allows to edit and display the information about the possessed licenses. The documents scanned into the electronic version can be attached here.
Dialog [Software – Usage %]

Our company proposes to collect some information using the “sampling method”. Below is the example of its utilization in big corporations.
Dialog [Scanned Software – files]

The dialog allows to display which files were scanned on the particular Workstations.
Dialog [Scanned software]

Display of the scanned and recognized software.
Dialog [Users – edit]

The application gathers the information about the users of the Workstations and the this application.
Dialog [Users scanned on Workstations]

The dialog help to find the Main User of the Workstation. We propose the notion of the Main User, as the person responsible for the state of the software on the computer. There should be no Workstation with the Main User.
Dialog [Users – trainings]

The dialog allows to print the declarations/agreements after the trainings for the users on the “legal use of the software in the company” and records the trainings. It is worth to electronically supervise this aspect in bigger companies.
Dialog [Reports]

Take a look at the site with sample reports.
Dialog [Open Help]

Our company promotes the idea of the Open Help, where the authorized users of the program can supplement the help items with the elements helpful in the user’s company.
